Final assignment submitted for this term. Just three intense days of class and exam to go. By this time next week, I’ll be on three, count ’em, three weeks of vacation with no hard plans, except devouring Harry Potter on day one. Gratitude – Day 214

I’m looking forward to the day when long weekends can simply be long weekends. Spent a lot of this one working on an assignment. By 3 p.m. this afternoon, Moe’s meows for dinner (which he has around 4 p.m.) made me realize that the cantaloupe I’d eaten around 11 a.m. did not constitute lunch and was long gone.

Got my copy of the latest Harry Potter today. Mustering up all my will power not to read it until vacation starts in eight days (but who’s counting). Loved that the bookstore staff were dressed in Hogwarts attire, packaged the book in a black cotton bag emblazoned with a yellow lightening bolt, played the movie
